The iPET Network has introduced a new awards ceremony, the iAwards, to recognise exceptional contributions to animal care and training.
Sponsored by Groomers, My Pet Online, and iPET Network in collaboration withSarah Mackay and Fern Gresty Andis, the iAwards will highlight individuals and organisations going above and beyond to enhance animal welfare and professional development in the sector.
The iAwards aims to provide a platform for industry professionals to gather, celebrate achievements, and network with like-minded peers. With 10 award categories covering a range of roles from teaching to apprenticeships, the event is set to celebrate both established experts and emerging talent in the animal care industry.
iPET Network’s spokesperson commented that the awards will be a great opportunity to bring the sector together, celebrating the varied and vital work being done across the UK in fields such as dog grooming, training provision, and apprentice development.
Award Categories Celebrating a Range of Roles in Animal Care
The 10 award categories include:
- Dog Grooming Tutor of the Year
- Animal Sector Tutor of the Year
- Groomers Dog Groomer of the Year
- Cat Groomer of the Year
- iPET Network Training Provider of the Year
- iPET Network Student of the Year
- Canine Business of the Year
- Apprenticeship Training Provider of the Year
- Dog Grooming Apprentice of the Year
- Apprentice of the Year in an Animal Business
Each category is designed to recognise different aspects of training and animal care, from exceptional teaching practices and grooming skills to standout training providers and apprentices in the field.

The iAwards will take place at the Blakemere Village resort in Northwich, Cheshire, offering attendees a night of celebration, networking, prizes, and pizza. Nominations are now open, allowing colleagues, students, and community members to recognise the hard work and dedication of professionals in the animal care industry.
