South West-based Provet Limited has been honoured with the prestigious “Best Online Animal Health Resource 2024” award by LUXlife Magazine.
The company’s founder and Managing Director, Mike Davies from Gillingham, Dorset, expressed his delight at receiving the award, acknowledging the effort put into developing the extensive animal health website, www.provet.co.uk.
Mike Davies remarked, “I am pleased to accept this Award in recognition of the hard work put in by Provet since 1999 to create its extensive animal health website. The site contains independent, evidence-based, scientifically supported information on a wide range of topics including clinical signs, specific diseases, diagnosis, feeding, parasite control, vaccinations and a wealth of other helpful topics, including breed specific sections.”
New Book and Upcoming Services
The award coincides with the publication of Provet’s new book for dog owners and breeders, titled “130 Healthcare Topics for Dogs”. This book aims to provide valuable information for dog enthusiasts, covering various aspects of dog health and care.
In 2024, Provet Limited is set to launch several new services and educational courses. These include a new case review service for pet owners seeking an independent veterinary opinion and new dog and cat nutrition courses. The company will also continue to offer its Clinical Nutrition Courses and a Certificate Examination (PCertSACN) for Veterinary Surgeons and Veterinary Nurses.
