Healthy Pet Store in Totton, Hampshire, is inviting local pets and their caregivers to celebrate its milestone 10th anniversary on 22nd and 23rd November.
Marking a decade of providing high-quality pet products and expert advice, the store is set to host a celebratory event complete with birthday cake, refreshments, and party bags for pets as a thank-you to the community for its loyal support.
Founded by Deborah Burrows, Healthy Pet Store was inspired by her experience with her own Border Collie, Woody, whose health journey sparked her passion for pet wellness and nutrition. Over the years, the store has grown significantly, driven by strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and partners, leading to its recognition through several prestigious retail awards.
Reflecting on the store’s journey, Deborah said, “I reflect on how far we’ve come in 10 years, and we owe it to our amazing community. Our goal has always been to create a welcoming place where pet people feel supported and can find top-quality food and pet-friendly products. The Covid-19 lockdowns marked a period of rapid growth for Healthy Pet Store as more pet owners focused on their pets’ wellbeing. The increased demand led to a move in June 2020 to a larger location, expanding from a small shop with seven freezers to a spacious facility featuring 32 freezers. This expansion allowed Healthy Pet Store to significantly increase its offerings, with a wide selection of raw pet food, frozen meals, and natural products, catering to an expanding base of loyal customers.
Customer loyalty has been integral to Healthy Pet Store’s success, with many patrons seeking out the store’s expert advice and distinctive shopping experience focused on pet health and wellness. In response to growing demand beyond the local community, Healthy Pet Store relaunched its website, enabling nationwide delivery of its complete product range and extending its values and mission to pet owners across the UK.
