Nominations for the inaugural iAwards are now open, offering a platform to highlight those who go above and beyond in their roles within the animal care and education sectors.

iAwards is a new awards ceremony celebrating outstanding achievements in animal care and training. Sponsored by Groomers, My Pet Online, and iPET Network in collaboration with Andis, the event will honour professionals who excel in making a difference for animals and their welfare.

A Celebration of Excellence Across the Animal Industry

The iAwards feature ten categories covering a wide range of professions, from dog grooming to training provision and apprenticeships. Categories include Dog Grooming Tutor of the Year, Animal Sector Tutor of the Year, Groomers Dog Groomer of the Year, and Apprentice of the Year working within an Animal Business. The awards aim to bring professionals together to celebrate their achievements and foster connections among like-minded individuals.

The ceremony will be held at the Blakemere Village resort in Northwich, Cheshire, and promises an enjoyable evening with prizes and pizza for attendees.

Recognising Talent in Animal Care and Education

Sarah Mackay and Fern Gresty of the iPET Network expressed their enthusiasm for the event, stating: “We are so excited for the iAwards and to celebrate those wonderful individuals and organisations that excel in all they do for animals and education.

The iAwards provide an opportunity to shine a light on professionals who contribute to the welfare of animals through dedication and skill, while also highlighting the importance of education and training in the industry.
