Prominent European online pet platform zooplus SE has announced the addition of Jonas Schultheiss to its leadership team as the Chief Marketing Officer and a member of the zooplus Executive Committee.

In his new role, Jonas Schultheiss will oversee a spectrum of crucial areas, including Digital Marketing, Marketing Data, Branding, Content Creation, Design, Offline Marketing, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). This strategic appointment also aligns with zooplus’ ongoing efforts to solidify its position as the go-to destination for pet families across Europe.

With a BSc in Psychology from Durham University, Jonas Schultheiss brings a wealth of experience in building and leading high-performing teams in digital direct-to-consumer businesses. His notable career includes significant roles at leading companies such as Delivery Hero in Berlin, where he contributed to the online food delivery platform’s marketing efforts. Subsequently, he joined Marley Spoon in 2014, playing a pivotal role in establishing the marketing department and supporting the company’s launch. In 2017, he assumed the position of Chief Marketing Officer, later taking on the additional role of Chief Product Officer.

Geographically based at zooplus’ headquarters in Munich, Germany, Jonas Schultheiss is poised to play a pivotal role in translating the company’s vision and steering its marketing strategies to new heights.
