Beginning December 20, residents of Los Angeles with dogs or cats planning for a festive vacation in London can board a flight departing from Van Nuys airport, with a return trip scheduled for January 1. Meanwhile, UK residents can journey to Los Angeles from Farnborough airport on December 23 and make their way back on January 3. Those eyeing a spring vacation can avail of flights on March 8th and May 10th from Van Nuys, and on March 10th and May 12th from Farnborough.
The genesis of K9 JETS can be traced back to a request to their affiliate, G6 AVIATION, which was tasked with organising a flight for ten passengers accompanied by ten dogs, travelling from London to New Jersey. It is this very demand that gave birth to the concept of K9 JETS. The firm is rooted in the idea of facilitating hassle-free journeys, where passengers and their pets can share a relaxed and luxurious travel experience. Commenting on this development, Co-founder Adam Golder said that the company believes in prioritising the comfort of pets during travel and is thrilled to unveil this new route, especially with the festive season around the corner.
Distinctively, all K9 JETS flights operate from private terminals. This grants travellers the luxury of swift customs procedures and necessitates their presence merely 60 minutes before departure. Passengers are treated to complimentary refreshments and a bar service. Once airborne, dogs can comfortably sit with their owners or occupy a section of the cabin, while cats are to be stationed in their carriers.
Apart from the newly announced route, K9 JETS also offers connections between London and various global destinations like New Jersey, East and West Coast America, Paris, Dubai, and Lisbon. The price bracket for this unique travel experience oscillates between $6,350 and $13,850 for both owners and their pets.
