In a celebration of marketing excellence within the animal health care industry worldwide, the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC) proudly unveils the winners of the 2023 VETTY Awards®.

This prestigious international awards program honours outstanding achievements in advertising, public relations, digital media, social outreach, design, events, promotions, educational materials, and other projects contributing to the promotion of animal health care worldwide.

The 2023 VETTY Awards® saw unprecedented global participation, with veterinary industry organisations, both non-profit and for-profit, and agencies worldwide submitting their projects for evaluation. Covering a spectrum from pet pharmaceuticals to foods, diagnostic equipment, professional associations, advocacy groups, and architectural design, the entries showcased advancements in animal medicine, a deeper understanding of the animal health audience, technological innovations, and memorable creative campaigns.

NAVC CEO Gene O’Neill expressed pride in the remarkable work accomplished by marketing and advertising professionals in the animal health care industry. He acknowledged the entrants’ pivotal role in advancing animal medicine and promoting the well-being of animals globally.

Grand Prize Winners

The pinnacle of recognition is awarded to the “BEST IN SHOW (FOR PROFIT) AWARD,” secured by Zoetis for their “Diagnostics Look Deeper Campaign to Launch the Virtual Laboratory.” In the non-profit category, Old Ridge Veterinary Hospital clinched the “BEST IN SHOW (NONPROFIT) AWARD” for their “Doc’s Little Free Library.” The Large Animal Award went to Synchrony and Stephens & Associates for their “Equine Lifetime of Care Lookbook,” while the NAVC Spotlight Award recognised “Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging” by Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging and BrandTall Communications.

Additionally, Judge’s Awards were presented to noteworthy projects, including Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health USA Inc.’s “2023 OraVet Dental Health Month Dispensing Kit,” Merck Animal Health’s “BRAVECTO® & SENTINEL® Unlock Better Protection Integrated Campaign,” and Pumpkin & Marvel Studios Partnerships’ “The Galaxy’s Best Pet Insurance” Campaign.

Showcasing Success at VMX 2024

The spotlight will continue to shine on the winners during VMX 2024, the world’s largest gathering of veterinary industry professionals. Taking place from January 13-17, 2024, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, VMX offers over a thousand hours of continuing education and program tracks across five days. Gold, silver, and bronze winners will be prominently featured in the VMX Expo Hall, one of the largest veterinary industry expos globally.

Grand prize winners will receive special recognition on January 15 during an Awards Night, followed by a VMX Exclusive Concert Event featuring Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line. Additionally, the event promises to be a convergence of industry leaders, celebrating and showcasing the best in marketing for animal health care products, programs, and services.
