Petplan, the UK’s leading pet insurance provider, has opened nominations for the prestigious 2024 Petplan Veterinary Awards.
These awards mark a significant milestone as they celebrate their 25th year of recognising exceptional veterinary professionals and practices. Since 1999, the Petplan Veterinary Awards have been a symbol of recognition for the outstanding work carried out by dedicated veterinary professionals and practices across the UK.
The “Oscars” of the Veterinary World
Nominations for the awards have officially begun, allowing both clients and colleagues to put forward deserving veterinary professionals and practices in five distinct categories. These nominations serve as a testament to the inspiring efforts and unwavering dedication witnessed within the industry.
Often dubbed as the “Oscars” of the veterinary world, these awards feature five distinguished categories, honouring both individuals and groups across various roles:
- Practice of the Year
- Practice Manager of the Year
- Practice Support Staff of the Year
- Vet of the Year
- Vet Nurse of the Year
Every professional nominated for these accolades will receive a personalised certificate to proudly display at their practice. Following this, an independent panel of expert judges from the veterinary industry will have the challenging task of selecting three finalists per category from the extensive list of nominations.
The nominees’ stories are diverse, reflecting their significant contributions, from building strong bonds with teams and clients to delivering exceptional levels of animal care that consistently exceed expectations.
A Gala Evening to Honour Excellence
All finalists will then attend an awards ceremony, slated for the 21st of March next year, which will take place in Manchester. The awards ceremony is a fitting tribute to the outstanding achievements of the veterinary industry in the UK, and it is a momentous occasion as the awards celebrate their 25th anniversary.
