Louise Mallinson, Clinical Director at Beechwood Vets in Leeds, received the prestigious Vet of the Year award for her unwavering dedication to empowering veterinary nurses. Her pivotal role in advocating for nurses’ voices through initiatives like Nurse Evolve, a CPD programme, earned her this recognition.

Meanwhile, Amy Smart from Hampden Equine Vets received the crown of Receptionist of the Year, showcasing exemplary leadership in administration, policy creation, and sustainability initiatives.

The Practice Manager of the Year award recognised Janet Fox from Oakhill Vets for her dedication, supportive leadership, and extensive community engagement. Willows Farm Vets, acknowledged as Practice of the Year, transformed adversity into success, thriving after overcoming significant challenges.

The event also honoured exceptional leaders like Jo Moore from Pet Cremation Services, recognised for exemplary leadership, sustainability initiatives, and fostering a cohesive team environment.
