Johnson’s Veterinary Products, a Midlands-based pet healthcare product manufacturer, clinched the coveted Supplier of the Year accolade at the Pet Industry Federation (PIF) Awards, at the Chesford Grange Hotel on Thursday 9 November.

The esteemed recognition came during a grand black-tie gala dinner, where industry leaders gathered to celebrate excellence in the pet sector. Johnson’s Veterinary Products stood out for its unwavering commitment to nurturing strong client relationships as well as enhancing its service offerings, securing the prestigious award amidst applause from peers and specialists.

Daniel Everett, Operations Manager at PIF, highlighted Johnson’s commendable win, stating: “A family-owned and independent pet product provider, Johnson’s, founded in 1921, has remained deeply connected to its foundational principles. The judges were impressed by their substantial investments in refining their ordering processes, ensuring they never lose their distinct identity. Their dedicated salesforce plays a pivotal role in maintaining this ethos.”

The PIF Awards strive to spotlight outstanding contributions within the pet industry, as well as acknowledging the diverse talent that propels the sector forward.

Additionally, the awards ceremony honoured Johnson’s and other pet businesses for their generous contributions to the U-Hearts Foundation charity, which works on the ground to support abandoned pets in Ukraine. Johnson’s donation of Fipronil spot-on flea solution has already aided 15,036 dogs in 14 regions within the war-torn nation, underlining their commitment to global pet welfare.
