London Vet Specialists (LVS), a part of the Linnaeus group, reveals its ambitious plans for an £8 million state-of-the-art animal hospital in Hammersmith, London.

The unveiling includes the first artist’s impression of the cutting-edge facility, showcasing LVS’s commitment to advancing veterinary care in the heart of the capital.

The upcoming 12,000 sq ft animal hospital will serve as the new home for LVS, currently located in Belsize Park. This strategic move is not only a significant milestone for the veterinary practice but also signals a substantial expansion of its specialist-led team. The enlarged team will enhance LVS’s capacity, allowing it to cater to a higher volume of referral cases from veterinary practitioners in and around London.

The facility is designed to elevate veterinary services, featuring nine consultation rooms, a state-of-the-art surgical suite with three theatres, a dedicated intensive care ward, and an isolation ward. Notably, the hospital will house London’s first static high-field MRI for veterinary use, supported by a specialist neurology service. Additionally, a 64-slice CT scanner, fluoroscopy, and an on-site laboratory will facilitate rapid and accurate diagnoses.

A Major Milestone

Emma Laws, the Hospital Director at LVS, expresses her enthusiasm about the move to Hammersmith, calling it a major milestone for LVS. She highlights the significance of the larger site, accommodating top veterinary specialists and state-of-the-art equipment. The enhanced facility aligns with LVS’s commitment to delivering the best possible treatment for their patients.

Emma Laws commented on the development, “The move to Hammersmith is a major milestone for LVS and one we are incredibly excited about. We’re really happy to be able to give people a sneak peek at what this brilliant new hospital will look like. It’s a much larger site than our current centre and will house some of the UK’s top veterinary specialists and state-of-the-art equipment, which will help us continue to provide the best treatment possible for patients.”

A Glimpse into the Future

The release of the artist’s impression provides a glimpse into the future of veterinary care at LVS. With a focus on advanced technology, a skilled team, and increased capacity, the new animal hospital aims to set a benchmark for excellence in the field. As LVS prepares for this transformative journey, the veterinary community and pet owners alike anticipate the positive impact of this state-of-the-art facility in Hammersmith.
