Jerry Green Dog Rescue invites dog lovers nationwide to participate in their ’60 Miles in May’ challenge, aimed at raising essential funds to support dogs in need.

Following the success of last year’s initiative, the rescue charity is once again calling on individuals to get active and make a difference.

The challenge is flexible, allowing participants to complete their 60 miles in any way they prefer, whether it’s walking, running, swimming, or even pogo-sticking. With just two miles a day, contributors can easily incorporate the challenge into their daily routine while supporting a worthy cause.

Open to All Ages

Upon registration, participants will receive a welcome pack, including a complimentary ’60 Miles in May’ t-shirt to track their progress. A dedicated Facebook group provides a platform for sharing achievements and connecting with fellow participants. Rewards await those who meet fundraising milestones, including medals, water bottles, and exclusive hoodies.

Bethan Killelay, Digital Fundraising Lead at Jerry Green Dog Rescue, encourages widespread participation, stating, “We are eagerly anticipating the participation of as many individuals as possible in this challenge to aid dogs in need. The 60 Miles in May challenge offers not only an opportunity for personal achievement but also brings a vibrant and supportive community together.”

The challenge is open to individuals of all ages, with parental consent required for participants under 16. It’s not limited to specific regions, allowing dog lovers across the country to join forces in support of rescue dogs.
